“I had the pleasure of working with Svitlana as my Mentor for 4 months through the Women at Work in France program. At the time, I stepped into a new managerial role and inherited a team that had been fragmented following a major reorganization. Some team members were demoralized, and there were numerous operational challenges. My main goal was – to rebuild trust and mutual respect, and to become a leader of an international team during a period of turbulence and organizational chaos. From the very beginning, Svitlana was genuinely enthusiastic about helping me navigate this challenge. During our mentorship, we worked together to identify the root causes of challenges, selected the most effective tools to address them, and focus on the key areas I needed to develop to succeed. Svitlana generously shared ideas, tools, and materials that helped me gain perspective. Her personal experience and insightful feedback allowed me to look at the problem from different angles and explore new ways to overcome team resistance. As a result of our work together, I was able to connect with team members, transform the team’s negativity into trust, and become more confident in my role. I developed a new framework for leading team calls and created values that supported building team cohesion. My experience with Svitlana was not only valuable for solving the challenge but also enriching for my ongoing professional development. It has inspired me with fresh ideas and greater clarity for my future growth as a leader.”

“Svitlana supported me through a very stressful salary negotiation. It was the first time I tried to go beyond simply accepting what was offered, and I wasn’t sure I could do it. Svitlana helped me to prepare my talking points and refine my arguments so that I could enter the conversation with clarity and confidence. She also offered a number of very specific and practical tips that were tailored to my situation and concerns, and they proved really effective during the actual negotiation. We then did a mock negotiation, where Svitlana played the role of my manager. It gave me a chance to say things out loud, test how they sounded, and practise responding to possible objections. The session felt safe and supportive, yet realistic, and it helped me stay calm and focused when the real conversation came. When the time came for the actual conversation with my manager, I felt so much more prepared than I ever expected. It was my first experience standing for myself and asking for what I believed I deserved, without shrinking or doubting myself. Even though the negotiation was challenging, I stayed grounded and eventually reached an outcome I feel really proud of. I’m really glad I reached out to Svitlana. Her support and professional advice made a big difference.”
